They support and partner with doctors and medical providers to administer medical care, monitor patients’ health with advocacy and spend time making them feel safe in a medical environment.

As Nursing education is a professional education for the preparation of nurses to render professional nursing care to people of all ages and in all phases of health and illness. In order to meet the needs of the people in the society, this institute is dedicated to prepare competent, efficient and responsible nurses who will be committed to serve and lead as professional nurses nationally and globally.

As you embark on this noble journey of caring for others, I want to welcome you to our nursing community at VKNRL School of Nursing which is under the banner of “ VKNRL Nursing School Trust” a part of CSR initiative of NRL.Since its establishment in 2017, VKNRL School of Nursing, nestled in the serene surroundings of Golaghat District, Assam, has been steadfastly committed to the principles of skill development and generating sustainable livelihood opportunities for the local community. Rooted deeply in the inspiring teachings of Swami Vivekananda—“Man Making and Nation Building”—our institution strives to prepare competent, compassionate, and dedicated nursing professionals who can meet the growing demand for qualified nurses across the country and beyond.
Our General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM) program, spanning three rigorous years, is designed to equip students with comprehensive professional nursing education. This training enables them to deliver holistic and quality nursing care to people of all ages, ensuring the well-being of individuals and communities alike.
We take immense pride in the success of our five batches of students, all of whom have graduated with first-class results and achieved 100% placement. Approximately 80% of our alumni have secured positions in the government sector, while 20% are serving in the private sector, with many also taking their expertise overseas. This remarkable outcome reflects our unwavering dedication to academic excellence and professional readiness.
