An Indian Spiritual Guru, teacher of Vedanta, Orator, Author and Social Reformer visited to the school on 5th September 2023 and delivered a devotional speech for teachers, staff and students which were highly motivational for all.

VKNRLS oN celebrates Universal Brotherhood Day with great enthusiasm each year on 11th September, to commemorate Swami Vivekananda’s historical speech at the Parliament of World Religions in Chicago on 11th September 1893.

On the occasion of Sadhana Diwas, the life and legacy of Eknath Ranade, was honoured with his visionary behind the Vivekananda Rock Memorial and Vivekananda Kendra. VKNRLSoN celebrates Sadhana Diwas on 19th November every year.

Gita Jayanti - the auspicious day of the advent of Srimad Bhagavad-Gita. This is the day on which Lord Krishna imparted the essence of Vedic knowledge to Arjuna over 5000 years ago and enlightened him about the ultimate goal of life. VKNRLSoN celebrates Gita Jayanti on Moksada Akadasi every year.

Students of VKNRLSoN participates in Annual Sports Week ‘UTSAH’ with great excitement, showcasing talents in various competitions.

Lamp lighting ceremony is an important occasion for nursing professional; it is an oath towards their duty in front of lighting candle in the presence of their teachers, seniors, parents and public. It is the symbol of love, affection, dedication and enhancement of knowledge these qualities to be carried forward till the last day of her duty. VKNRLSoN observes Lamp Lighting Ceremony at school every year before entry of newly inducted students to the hospital setting.

VKNRL School of Nursing celebrates International Yoga Day at different public places of Numaligarh on 21st June every year, demonstrating Yoga to the community people.

Students of VKNRLSoN are currently working as SSW in Japan under National Skill Development Corporation.

The celebration of Guru Purnima at VKNRLSoN, is marked by spiritual activities and ritualistic event, in honour of the Guru. It is observed on the full moon day (Purnima) in the month of Ashadha (June–July) according to the Hindu Calendar.

National Youth Day, also known as Vivekananda Jayanti, celebrated at VKNRLSoN on 12th January every year to mark the birth anniversary of most well-known philosopher, author, orator and spiritual leader-Swami Vivekananda. The day emphasises on remembering contributions of Swami Vivekananda towards the nation and empowering the youth of the country.

International Nurses Day is celebrated every year on May 12th to honour the birth anniversary of Florence Nightingale, the founder of modern nursing. The day recognizes the vital role that plays by the nurses in healthcare and their dedication towards patient care.
