National Youth Day (12.01.2020): National Youth Day is celebrated every year on 12th January to commemorate the birthday of Swami Vivekananda, the maker of Modern India; VKNRL School also celebrated National Youth Day with great joy, enthusiasm. The theme of National Youth Festival for the year 2020 is “Fit Youth Fit India”.
The auspicious programme was started at 10 am with teen omkarmangalacharan and felicitation of the chief guest of the event Mr Bhaskar Kakoty, Professor Golaghat Commerce College, Golaghat followed by the welcome address given by Mrs.Kabita Devi, Principal, VKNRL School of Nursing. A valuable lecture session was provided by the chief guest of the event on youth empowerment, its importance and various ways to build the youths of the nations. The lecture session was ended at 12 am.

Saraswati Puja was celebrated with great fervour on 10th February, 2019 at VKNRL School of Nursing. On the auspicious day, the students, Faculties and staff of VKNRL School of Nursing came together to seek the blessings of Maa Saraswati, the goddess of Knowledge, music, art and culture. The rituals started with tim Omkar & Mangalacharanam followed by Saraswati Vandana. Puja was offered by the students & faculties of the school along with pandit ji.
Republic day, An auspicious occasion to commemorate the values of our democracy and republic. This is a day to reaffirm our commitment to liberty, fraternity and equality across our society & nation.
VKNRL School of Nursing celebrated 70th Republic day with pride & patriotism 26th January, 2019 in the school premise. The programme was started by hoisting the nation flag at 7.30 am by Mrs. Namita Chetri, Principal (i/c) followed by national anthem sung by the members of the school.
Sadhana Diwas is celebrated to commemorate Mananeeya Eknath Ranade, founder of Vivekananda Kendra Kanyakumari and Vivekananda Rock memorial.
Eknath Ji was born on 19th Nov 1914 at Amravati district of Maharastra. He was a social activist and leader and was greatly influenced by the teachings of Swami Vivekananda. In 1963-72, Ranade played an instrumental role in the construction of Vivekananda Rock memorial and Vivekananda Kendra Kanyakumari.
