Republic day, An auspicious occasion to commemorate the values of our democracy and republic. This is a day to reaffirm our commitment to liberty, fraternity and equality across our society & nation.

VKNRL School of Nursing celebrated 70th Republic day with pride & patriotism 26th January, 2019 in the school premise. The programme was started by hoisting the nation flag at 7.30 am by Mrs. Namita Chetri, Principal (i/c) followed by national anthem sung by the members of the school.

Ms. Anamika Devi, GNM 1st year student delivered a speech on the significance of Republic day. The principal (i/c) addressed the gathering and inspired everyone to maintain the dignity of being a citizen of a republic country.

Faculties, students and staff of the school of the school sung a patriotic song “Matri bhumi gan se” lead by Usharani Sonowal, GNM 2nd year student followed by felicitation of security staff & sub- inspector, CISF. The programme was ended with distribution of Prasad.

VKNRL School of Nursing also collaboratively celebrated Republic day with NRL, CISF and DPS, Numaligarh at NRL Township. The students of VKNRL School of Nursing also took part in the parade along with NRL and its associates.
